Welcome to Madrid!
Madrid is an open and diverse city where history, art, and good cousin coexist in harmony. The city offers an official guide that can be downloaded here. Among the many attractions you cannot miss visiting the Prado and the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museums, the "Basilica de San Francesco", which after Pantheon and San Pietro in Rome has the 3rd greatest dome in the world. Also, you cannot miss exploring the magic gardens of the Retiro Park, or walking from Plaza Mayor to the Royal Palace of Madrid, passing through the most iconic streets of the city center, taking pictures of the statue dedicated to Cervantes in plaza de España, or the monument dedicated to Columbus in Paseo de la Castellana.
