The Workshop will take place at the M3 "Aula Magna" room of the Faculty of Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid (see map below). Once inside the Faculty's building, just turn left, and then turn the first corridor on your right to find it. Signs will be displayed in any case, for your convenience. Coffee breaks will be served at the "Gabinete de Fisicas" room, just accross the Venue room.

The campus is well served by public transportation. The closest subway station (10 minutes walk from the Faculty) is "Ciudad Universitaria", reachable by circular line 6 (grey colour) with a frequeny (in peak hours) of every 5 minutes or less, and costs 1.5 euros a single trip from every other station within area A (which covers all downtown and part outside of it). A map of the subway can be found here . Once at the "Plaza de Ciencias" gardens, the Faculty of Physical Sciences is the building at the end of it (just cross the gardens more or less diagonally from the main street).

The bus line "G" is another workable option, departing right in front of the "Intercambiador de Moncloa" station also at 1.5 euros a trip (directly purchasable from the bus driver), and takes a maximum of 10 minutes to the Faculty (get off at "Paraninfo-Matematica" station: the entrance to the Faculty is right across the garden, on your top-left).

Please do consider adquiring a red card 10-trips at a vending machine in a subway station or at a "kiosko" at 6.1 euros, valid for both subway and bus in the entire town (area A).

Bikes lines are also available at several spots in town, but note that Madrid downtown is not particularly friendly to bikes and some parts of the town are quite steep. Bike scooters are also quite popular, being available at many places around the town.

Do also consider walking your way down to the Faculty, which is a pleasant trip of up to 30 minutes from Moncloa area, and roughly 45-60 minutes from downtown.

Taxis to/from airport take roughly 20 minutes and cost around 30 euros. Uber services are also available everywhere, being typically cheaper than taxis.
